The Putumayo Celebrate the World Festival is happening today!
The rain will end before the event starts at 1pm and there may even be some sun poking through!
It will get chilly (by New Orleans standards), so we will be using Broadside’s beautiful indoor stage for the music.
Kids activities still on as well (and adults, you are allowed to get your faces painted too).

Putumayo Celebrate the World Festival

Tickets are just $20—and free for kids 12 and under as well as Folk Alliance conference badge holders—making this the perfect way to soak up New Orleans sunshine, community spirit, and musical magic from around the world.
Celebrate the World with Putumayo at a joyful mini-festival taking place at The Broadside in New Orleans on January 25th from 1 to 6pm. It will be a vibrant afternoon in a magical outdoor venue that is guaranteed to make you feel good!
Experience an irresistible lineup of global sounds featuring Senegalese rising star Cheikh Ibra Fam, Cape Breton fiddler-vocalist Morgan Toney, Cuban singer-songwriter Niuver, local favorites Sabertooth Swing, and other special guests.
Enjoy a Putumayo DJ spinning feel-good global grooves, delicious offerings from local food vendors, and family-friendly surprises throughout the day.
